Do you use the clarisonic brush for cleansing? Have you tried their LUXE series brush heads?

Hello beauty fanatics, today I'm going to review a new brush head I bought from Sephora today for my clarisonic mia facial cleansing device. It is part of the LUXE Series - the Cashmere Cleanse High Performance Facial Brush Head.

Before I go into the brush head, let me give you my thoughts on the clarisonic cleansing device. It claims to clean 6x better than hands alone whiel simultaneously increasing skin's hydration and radiance levels. I personally like how it really cleans my skin, and remove all my makeup off my face. I used to use it every day religously, but I felt it was a little bit too much for my skin and kind of irritated me a bit, especially after I switched to soft water, which I believe made my skin much better by not leaving residue on my face from the water. I think the clarisonic was kind of helping me exfoliate my skin at the same time while I cleanse and after I switched to soft water my skin no longer needed that much exfoliating and when I exfoliate too much my skin got irritated. I also switched to the double cleansing method (cleansing oil first then foam cleanser) and I just don't need to use this everyday anymore. I treat this now as my little treatment device I use every other day to make sure my skin is clean and pores are not clogged.

So anyway, I went on an adventure to figure out how I can use the device better and tried to switch brush heads as well. The clarisonic originally came with a sensitive brush head, which was fine for my skin until I switched to soft water. So I switched to the delicate brush head which I was still using yesterday, and it is still fine nothing wrong with it. However when I saw the LUXE series and saw the cashmere cleanse brush head, I immediately wanted to try it because my skin really can use something even softer.

The packing: the name of the brush head is engraved/indented on the box, which made it look and feel more luxurious already. I'm already falling in love while taking the brush head out!

The brush head features a dynamic dual layer design that has bristles longer on the outside and shorter on the inside so you kind of get a double brush with softer tips on top.

When I used it on my face, it felt like heaven! It was so soft my skin welcomed it with open arms! I can also feel the shorter bristles working its magic and cleansing my skin just like my delicate brush head. There were some other reviews I read that said because the bristles are soft and long the cleanser actually flickered into their eyes easily and it bothered them. For me, I did not have this problem, maybe only at the first second that I pressed the brush on my face after I turned the device on. So I think in order to avoid that "problem" (if you think it's a problem for you at all), put the device on your face before turning it on to avoid the "flickering" of cleanser to your eyes.

Overall I felt it did its job, it was soft on my skin and did not irritate it at all. My face felt clean and soft just as before when I used the delicate brush head. I'm very happy with my purchase!

You can get this brush head at Sephora online or at their retail stores. It retails for $36CDN plus tax. I hope this review gives another option for those of you that is looking for a softer brush head or has stopped using their clarisonic device because the brush heads were too harsh for their skin!
